We are proud to offer you this excellent HANHART vintage BUND-LUFTWAFFE Chronograph Ref.417.

Manufactured after WWII for the Deutsche Bundeswehr Luftwaffe in chrome-plated brass with leather strap.

Has got the BUNDESEIGENTUM and no. engraved on the back outside.

Marvelous condition, most of the vintage models did not age well...

HANHART delivered during and after the WWII watches to the german Luftwaffe.

This one became famous for beeing one of the three watches known to be worn by legendary actor and race car and motorcycle rider Steve McQueen. Its said, that Steve bought his one in Germany, during his stay on set for `THE GREAT ESCAPE´in 1962. He was seem with it mostly when riding his motorbikes.

So beyond the ROLEX 5512 Submariner, the HEUER Monaco Chronograph, this was his other love. We own a picture by famous photographer John Dominis where he pants with a gun in his living room, wearing exatly this model.

Quite cool and still afordable cult watch with very masculin appeal and perfectly readable dial.
