Born in 1991, the Ludwigsburg native, founded the company for high-quality used timepieces, Bachmann & Scher. Already at the age of 13 Thomas Bachmann began to be interested in the mechanics and its brilliant implementation in a precession watch. He was able to enter the trade during his apprenticeship. As an apprentice at the company "Uhrenhuber Munich" he recognized the potential of the hypes around the swatch watch and then started his first own trading business in addition to his training. He made valuable contacts, became acquainted with the business of watches, and ventured into self-employment early on, focusing on high-quality used and antique watches.

Thomas Bachmann's extensive experience has allowed him to acquire a rare knowledge of the subject, and is thus one of the most important players in the field of pocket watches and wristwatches.

Among his personal favorite timepieces are Patek Philippe Perpetual Chronograph Ref.2499, the vintage Rolex Submariner Ref.6538 Big Crown, the Patek Beta Quartz in white gold, the early OMEGA Speedmaster Pre-Moon models and the Longines chronographs of the 1940s.

However, the Munich entrepreneur has yet another passion: the Porsche 911 has been one of his personal favorites since childhood.
