We are more than proud to offer you this mint vintage BLANCPAIN FIFTY FATHOMS LIP INCABLOC in stainless steel with rubber Tropic strap and steel pin buckle.
Manufactured in around 1950, this particulary pristine and awesome FIFTY FATHOMS was retailes throug the BLANCPAIN retailer LIP in PARIS.
The CEO of BLANCPAIN, Jean-Jacques Fichter himself, developped this beautiful broad bezel FIFTY-FATHOMS model in those early years.
The Incabloc, anti-shock system was emplyed in this watch and its shown on the arabic radium dial.
Even though, this model was a non-military one, the idea was to develop anti-magnetic, waterproof and shockresistent tool watches for professional militray use.
Later many different countries used the FIFTY-FATHOMS in the navies for their divers. The BUNDESWEHR used a later model in the 1980ies.
