When the British government issued a call for tenders for watches for Royal Air Force pilots in 1948, IWC developed a very special watch: the MARK XI
In the following years, further versions of the Mark Pilot's Watches were launched, including the MARK XV SPITFIRE.
The fascinating 38 mm Mark XV has a black dial with Arabic numerals and the classic pilot's triangle on the twelve.
The date display is located at 3 o’clock.
Inside ticks the automatic caliber 37524 movement, which offers a power reserve of 42 hours.
This watch was completely overhauled in March 2025.
