We can offer you this very good vintage A.LANGE & SÖHNE Pilots Watch in steel with its original brown leather strap.
Coming with an extract from the LANGE archive - assembled by WEMPE Hamburg in 1941.
The extract stetes, taht this MARK 1 dial version was made in only 50 pieces.
The story of the watch is very spectacular and was told us by an italian family.
This was the watch of an german Air-Force fighter pilot, who was shot down over Genova.
He managed to survive the emergency landing of his plane.
Later he was rescued by this very italian family.
The pilot managed to exchanged this watch for their help and care. Much later the family grandfather was hiding the watch behing a brick wall, where it slept for decades. It was forgotten for a long time.
Just now, this piece re-emerged in its original and untouched condition, after house reconstruction.
We just got hold of this model and are proud to offer it now.
This is one incredible military LANGE for collectors.
