This is a very wanted and very fine A. Lange & Söhne hunting case minute repeating pocket watch. Sold on 09/07/1885 to Dürrstein & Co., Dresden for 1120 Marks - manufactured in quality 1A.
Comes with extract from the Lange archives.
Has got a very heavy, 18k rose gold case (107,5 gram, ø 56 mm), tiered, polished, case design "Louis XV à goutte", gold dome, glazed movement, large lateral hinge.
Perfect enamel dial with arabic hours, auxiliary seconds, red minutes and seconds, gold Louis XV hands.
Movement: Lange cal. 43 - 1A, 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, screwed gold chatons, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance, florally hand-engraved balance cock, gold lever and escape wheel, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
Total weight 153 gram.
