Our remarks
This is an excellent Omega vintage Seamster Chrono-Quartz, ref. ST396.0839 in stainless steel with stainless steel bracelet. Comes with the original descrbtion booklet for the watch and one for the movement.
The model became famous in the year 1976, when the Montreal Oympic games took place. Many referees wore this Chrono-Quartz. Also when Jupp Derwal, the german trainer of the soccer team used the model in the EM Cup '76, the watch got much attention.
Quite heavy with 160grams.
The watch has three displays. One for the analog hour, minute and date, and two for the chronograph in digital.
Beautiful 1970s space age design for gentlemen.
