Our remarks
This is a very good Rolex vintage Submariner Steve McQueen Ref.5512 in stainless steel with leather strap and original stainless steel Rolex buckle.
Manufactured in 1962, this rare piece has got a Rolex service dial build in.
The 5512 is fitted with a COSC Rolex movement and dial and comes with the pointed crown lugs. The production numbers represent only a fraction from the total number of Submariners without chronometer movement.
The model is also refered to as Steve McQueen Submariner, since SMQ was often seen wearing this reference.
