We are more than proud to offer you this very good vintage ROLEX DATEJUST, Ref.1601/9, in 18k white gold with white gold Jubilee bracelet.
Manufactured in the year 1977, this is one of three known watches with this lava extruded stone type dial. OBSIDIAN is a volcano glass-stone and in this case with different colors including iron oxide.
From all stone dials, the OBSIDIAN is by far the rarest of them all. Looking on this dial, one is majorly surprised by the unconventional and not easy to grasp look of the stone.
These super rare dials are found in Day-DATE, DATEJUST and CELLINI models only!
Often they are falsely described as Tiger Icon or not even as stone dials.
This is clearly one heavy collector's dream ROLEX - for those who can afford to dream and acquire.
