Our remarks
This is a very good Rolex vintage Explorer Super Precision, ref. 5500 in stainless steel with a more recent Rolex Oyster bracelet.
Manufactured in 1964 the watch was got a very rare gilt dial with an unerline bar.
In addtion, this dial was the first with Trititum filled hour markers and hands!
Highly collectable piece!
Legendary gentleman's Rolex, that became very famous after being used on different known expeditions, like the one of Peter Hunt to Mt. Everset.
