We can offer you this very good to excellent ROLEX DATEJUST OYSTERQUARTZ Ref.17013 18k yellow gold stainless steel with its bracelet.
Manufactured in 1985 only in a few thousand pieces. Legendary Sir Edmund Hillary and Reinhold Messner were featured together on a Rolex advert for Oysterquartz. In 1978 Messner was the first to reach the summit of Everest without the aid of oxygen and wore an Oysterquartz during his climb. Hillary also famously wore a 17013 Oysterquartz in his later life.
Sir Edmond Hillary reportedly bought this model for himself in the 1992 to celebrate the annivesary of the day he reached the top of Mt. Everest. (Hodinkee, June 28th 2017).
