This UNIVERSAL GENEVE Tri-Compax Chronograph Ref 22297, from the 1950s. The "Tri" in Tri-Compax refers to its three complications: calendar, moon phase and chronograph.
It has a beautiful 35 mm steel case. It is powered by a mechanical movement UG Caliber 281.
In 1944, the Tri Compax from UNIVERSAL GENEVE (the name derives from its three complications) was launched.
This Tri-Compax in steel, with a striking, extremely rare black dial and concentrically patterned silver registers, has three correctors on the left side for setting the day of the week, the months, the date and the moon phase, which is located in a small opening in combination with the pointer date at 12 o'clock.
