There are certain designs that endure over the years and continue to be reissued despite changing trends and tastes.
This Tank Louis, an 18mm women's version, dates back to the 1980s and features a yellow gold case with mineral crystal, a sapphire cabochon winding crown, and a cream-colored dial with printed Roman numerals and a matching blued steel "sword" hand. Powered by a reliable quartz movement.
The CARTIER TANK has been one such design throughout its more than 100 years of production. Whether in gold (yellow, rose, or white gold), stainless steel, or vermeil, the CARTIER TANK is a watch that truly deserves the designation “icon.”
The Tank Louis was introduced in 1922. With the Tank Louis, Cartier returned to basics, with classic lugs reminiscent of the treads that inspired them.
This is certainly one of the most beautiful examples we have had the pleasure of offering so far.
