We can offer you this very good ROLEX SUBMARINER COMEX, ref. 16610, in stainless steel on its stainless steel Oyster bracelet.

Built for over a decade between 1986 and 1997 the Reference 16610 marks the last Reference with the Iconic COMEX dial, with this E-Series SUBMARINER produced in 1991.

ROLEX supplied both SUBMARINER and Sea-Dweller watches to COMEX (Compagnie Maritime d’Expertises), a french deep-sea diving company from approximately 1970 till approx. 1997.

Over the years, a number of references have been issued to COMEX divers and employees, the most famous, which was entirely exclusive to COMEX, was the 5514, a Submariner with a helium gas escape valve, that is rumored to be the forerunner to the ROLEX Sea-Dweller.

The 16610 we are offering is still equipped with its original dial, hands and bezel with tritium luminous mass and covers the COSC certified automatic movement 3135 with a power reserve of 48 hours.

Despite the COMEX signed dial, the watch has also the engraved COMEX serial number on the back.
