We are excited to offer you this excellent ROLEX vintage SUBMARINER, Ref.5514, COMEX in stainless steel with its steel Oyster bracelet.

The Ref. 5514 is a pure COMEX one. There are many usual ROLEX SUBMARINER and SEA-DWELLER references, that were used by the legendary Ocean diving specialist company, but the 5514 is in our eyes the most important one.

COMEX stands for `COMPANIE MARITIME D'ÉXPERTISE´. The company was often employed to plant new oil platforms (in this case to extinguish a burning one) or to rescue people in deep sea terrain.

Many world records in deep sea plus special military experiments were carried out by their experienced divers.

Only the toughest ones in the world were employed and some received a ROLEX for their services or achievements.

So, how much cooler can a SUBMARINER become?

All parts of this piece are original and aged in a pefect and beautiful way.

The COMEX is accompanied by the divers photobook (showing famous fire specialist Red Adair on the platform) of the diver B.D., a massive Deep-Sea MARK II divers helmet and the original orange/black COMEX diver suit.

This is a wonderful and crazy ROLEX COMEX for the eternal museums collection.
