The OMEGA Speedmaster reference 311.32.42.30.01.001, or Speedmaster Tuesday as it is affectionately known, comes from a photo posted by Robert-Jan Broer along with a picture of his Speedmaster Professional. The day he posted his “Speedy” was a Tuesday, and so he captioned his photo with that word.
As a tribute to SpeedyTuesday and in collaboration with Broer, OMEGA released the Speedy Tuesday Limited Edition for pre-order on January 10, 2017 at 12 noon Swiss time to ensure that this day is a Tuesday in all time zones around the world. Only 2,012 pieces were to be produced. Reservations for the watch were received quickly and the watch sold out within hours.
The slim and streamlined 42mm tapered case is made from stainless steel and has been brushed to a fine matte finish. The steel is complemented by a matte black aluminum bezel that features the Speedy's familiar tachymeter scale. Turn the case over and you will see the engraving.
Comes with a one year warranty through our watch lab.
